ABB creates new executive position: head of corporate development

ABB announced late last week it had appointed Ulrich Spiesshofer to the newly created position of head of corporate development. Spiesshofer, 41, will also join the Swiss-Swedish engineering firm's executive committee, effective November 1 2005.
